Ingredients

  • 4 bananas peeled and halved lengthwise
  • ¼ cup butter unsalted
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • ¼ cup dark rum
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream

Instructions 

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved.
  3. Add bananas and cook until they start to soften.
  4. Pour in the rum and carefully ignite with a lighter or match.
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon and vanilla extract over the top.
  6. Serve immediately over vanilla ice cream.
