Bananas Foster
A classic New Orleans dessert made with bananas, rum, and ice cream.

Main Ingredients
- 4 bananas peeled and halved lengthwise
- ¼ cup butter unsalted
- ½ cup brown sugar packed
- ¼ cup dark rum
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. 
- Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved. 
- Add bananas and cook until they start to soften. 
- Pour in the rum and carefully ignite with a lighter or match. 
- Sprinkle cinnamon and vanilla extract over the top. 
- Serve immediately over vanilla ice cream.
