Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Peanut butter
  • 1 cup Butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 6 cups Powdered sugar
  • 4 cups Semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons Shortening

Instructions 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Mix until smooth.
  2. Shape into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with wax paper. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and shortening, stirring until smooth.
  4. Insert a toothpick into each peanut butter ball and dip into the melted chocolate, leaving a small portion of peanut butter visible at the top.
  5. Place back on the baking sheet and refrigerate until the chocolate is set.
