- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoon Butter unsalted, cut into pieces
- ½ cup Heavy cream at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the sugar while stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.
Once the sugar is completely melted, add the butter and stir until melted and combined.
Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring. Allow the mixture to boil for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt. Let cool before using.
