Instructions
1. Marinate the chicken with yogurt, biryani masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
2. In a large pot, heat ghee and fry the onions until golden brown. Remove half of the onions and set aside for garnishing.
3. Add garlic and ginger to the pot and sauté for a minute. Add the marinated chicken and cook until the chicken is done.
4. Add the soaked rice, water, chopped cilantro, and mint leaves. Mix well and bring to a boil.
5. Reduce the heat, cover the pot, and let it simmer until the rice is cooked and the water is absorbed.
6. Garnish with the fried onions and serve hot.
