- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- ½ cup Granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ½ cup Unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla extract until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and shape into a circle about 1 inch thick.
Cut the dough into 8 wedges and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the scones are golden brown.
Let the scones cool on a wire rack before serving.
