- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1.5 teaspoon baking powder
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh cranberries coarsely chopped
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 0.5 cup orange juice freshly squeezed
- 0.5 cup milk
- 1 large egg beaten
- 2 tablespoon butter melted
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add the cranberries and orange zest to the dry ingredients and toss to combine.
In another bowl, combine the orange juice, milk, egg, and melted butter.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
