Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Deer meat sliced thin
  • ½ cup Soy sauce
  • ½ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Black pepper ground
  • 1 tablespoon Onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.
  2. 2. Add the sliced deer meat to the bowl and mix well to coat each piece.
  3. 3. Cover the bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  4. 4. Arrange the marinated meat slices on the dehydrator trays, making sure they do not overlap.
  5. 5. Set the dehydrator to 160°F (70°C) and dry the meat for 4-6 hours, or until the jerky is dry and firm but still slightly pliable.
  6. 6. Let the jerky cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
