Fried Cornmeal Mush Recipe

- 1 cup Cornmeal
- 4 cups Water
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 tablespoon Butter
Bring water and salt to a boil in a saucepan.
Gradually whisk in the cornmeal, reducing heat to low.
Cook and stir until thickened, about 5 minutes.
Pour into a greased loaf pan and refrigerate until firm.
Slice the firm cornmeal mush into ½ inch slices.
Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat and fry the slices until golden brown on both sides.
