Main Ingredients
- 3 eggs, separated
- 75 g granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 75 g all-purpose flour sifted
- 30 g powdered sugar for dusting
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, beat egg yolks with half of the sugar and vanilla extract until thick and pale.
In another bowl, whisk egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add the remaining sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the egg yolk mixture into the egg whites. Sift the flour over the mixture and fold it in carefully.
Transfer the batter to a piping bag fitted with a plain round tip. Pipe 3-inch long strips onto the prepared baking sheet.
Dust with powdered sugar and bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
