Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken livers cleaned
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 100 g butter divided
  • 1 teaspoon thyme fresh
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a frying pan, melt half of the butter over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
  3. 3. Add the chicken livers and thyme, cooking until the livers are no longer pink inside.
  4. 4. Transfer the mixture to a food processor, add the remaining butter and heavy cream, and blend until smooth.
  5. 5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then transfer to a serving dish and chill until firm.
