- 3 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 packet Active dry yeast
- 1 cup Warm water
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Chopped onions
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
1. In a mixing bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
2. Add flour, salt, chopped onions, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it in a greased baking pan.
6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
7. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
