Main Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1.5 cups warm water
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup bread crumbs
In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and a pinch of sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
In another bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Add the yeast mixture and vegetable oil. Knead until smooth and elastic.
Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 pieces. Shape each piece into a roll and coat with bread crumbs.
Place the rolls on a baking sheet and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
