  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. 1. Pat the scallops dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. 2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. 3. Add the scallops to the skillet, making sure they are not touching. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. 4. Add the butter to the skillet and spoon it over the scallops for extra flavor.
  5. 5. Remove the scallops from the skillet and serve immediately.
