Ingredients

  • 1 whole Turkey 10-12 pounds
  • 1 cup Butter melted
  • 2 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Onion Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Rinse the turkey inside and out, and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Brush the turkey with melted butter, and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  4. Place the turkey in a roasting pan, and pour the chicken broth into the pan.
  5. Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for about 4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Baste the turkey every 30 minutes with the pan juices.
  7. Remove the turkey from the oven, and let it rest for 20-30 minutes before carving.
