- 3 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 packet Active dry yeast
- 1 cup Warm water
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, rosemary, salt, and sugar.
2. In a separate bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
3. Add yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it on a baking sheet.
7. Bake for 25 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
8. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
