Main Ingredients
- 16 large mushrooms stems removed, caps cleaned
- ½ lb Italian sausage casings removed
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- to taste salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
In a mixing bowl, combine cooked sausage, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
Stuff mushroom caps with sausage mixture and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until mushrooms are tender and tops are golden brown.
