Instructions
1. Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add a splash of oil.
2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced carrots and cook for a few minutes.
4. Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook until it starts to soften.
5. Pour in the vegetable broth and diced tomatoes. Bring to a boil.
6. Reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
7. Season with red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Adjust to taste.
