Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 jar Grape Leaves rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup Rice uncooked
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 large Onion finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine rice, ground beef, onion, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  2. 2. Place a grape leaf shiny side down. Add a spoonful of the mixture in the center. Fold the sides over and roll up tightly.
  3. 3. Place the stuffed grape leaves seam side down in a large pot. Repeat until all leaves are used.
  4. 4. Pour tomato sauce and water over the grape leaves. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
  5. 5. Serve warm or at room temperature.
