- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1.5 cups Granulated sugar
- 1 cup Unsalted butter softened
- 4 Large eggs
- 1 cup Whole milk
- 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 2.5 teaspoon Baking powder
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your cake pans.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Mix in the vanilla extract. Gradually add the flour mixture, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
Pour the batter into the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool the cakes in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove from pans and cool completely on a wire rack.
